The story so far...

At the foot of a great mountain at dawn, five white tigers emerge from the mist.

An intangible force draws them up the rocky slopes to a mystical temple.

The tigers follow the smell of food down a tunnel into the heart of the mountain

As the sunlight fades, candles illuminate cracked elephant statues.

Transfixed by an otherworldly glow, the tigers float towards a golden door

Reincarnated!

A pack of five snow tigers discover an ancient temple.

in a mystical fire, they are reborn with human souls, past life memories and innate basketball skills.

Soul Rebound is an interactive comic series combining themes of sport, sci-fi and spirituality. The story follows a team of snow tigers as they defend their mountain temple from evil robot elephants in high-stakes basketball battles.

With each chapter, audiences will be able to vote on online polls to collectively decide the path of future chapters.

Meet Sudam, the tigers’ headstrong team captain and point guard. A born leader, he pushes his team-mates to be their best and hates slacking. Sudam’s serious demeanour belies his fear for his team’s survival in a hostile world.

Introducing Nikhil! A scatter-brained genius inventor, constantly creating new inventions for the tigers. His high basketball IQ makes him an effective power forward.

Meet Shona! wide-eyed artist with her head in the clouds. Her vivid imagination makes her a creative playmaker at small forward. In constant awe of the world around her, she loves painting and drawing.

The smallest tiger on the team, Jade’s big personality and attitude make her a force to be reckoned with. Her deadpan attitude serves her well as the team’s shooting guard and resident doctor

Kah-yang coming through! The tallest of the Tigers at centre, he lords it over them with savage trash-talk on and off the court, cooking delicious meals and roasting the others to show affection.

And with every moment, it draws closer.

leaps and Bounds

Soul Rebound started as a t-shirt idea with a white tiger mascot. I felt that the best way to get people invested in the project was to create a story world around these characters to build emotional attachment, and a sense of ownership in steering the story.
